Apple Cheddar Crostini

About 20 crostini (depending on baguette size)

What You’ll Need:

  • Baking sheet
  • Mandolin slicer (optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 large red apples (any kind)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Baguette
  • Sharp cheddar, sliced
  • Olive oil

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  • Step 2

    Slice apples as thin as possible & set aside (using a knife or mandolin slicer)

  • Step 3

    Line your baking sheet with parchment paper

  • Step 4

    Slice your baguette into 1-2 inch slices & set them on the baking sheet

  • Step 5

    Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil. Bake in the oven for 4-5 minutes

  • Step 6

    Once bread is parbaked & cooled, add your cheddar slices to each crostini. Return the pan back into the oven & bake until the cheddar is melted

  • Step 7

    Let the crostinis cool slightly then add apple slices (as many as you’d like)

  • Step 8

    Finish with a little drizzle of honey & ENJOY!
