A&M’s Favorite Things

Lucky members of the Food52 staff get to spend photo shoots in Amanda’s beautiful kitchen -- in between takes of glazed shrimp and baking sheet styling, we get to daydream while looking at the shelves stocked with antique milk pots, Dansk casseroles, and the myriad of kitchen tools we’d be proud to hang above our stoves.

A&M are now sharing their inspiration on Quarterly Co., so that every three months, you can get a package from them full of their favorite things for the kitchen and tabletop. Think of them as well-timed gifts to update your kitchens, arriving just when you were wanting that new whisk, or a different set of wine glasses.

Their latest picks were centered around refreshments: stemless flutes, a drop-stop wine pourer, and an ice ball maker, all a classic mix of practical and inventive. In the words of A&M, they’re objects “you’ll want to use and display for decades, until your children attempt to snag them for their first kitchens.”
