Instagrams, Set In Stone

  If you’re the type to photodocument, this is for you: Joining the ranks of magnets and postcards is Coastermatic, a new company that can print your Instagrams onto affordable stone coasters. This means, first, that your pretty, filtered photos will be made real (and one better, set on stone), and second, that your table will be free of glass rings, forever. We don’t see the downside.  Tom Harman and Tash Wong created Coastermatic as a way to spice up tea-time conversation. They also believe, wholeheartedly, in the creative potential of coasters. We had never thought of it that way before, but they’re kind of convincing. That, and they’re really quite meta: we might just want to set our drinks on our pictures of drinks.  Coastermatic
