These Hot Honey Prosciutto Pizza Bites are a little sweet, a little salty, a little spicy and a whole lotta YUM. These perfect lil' bites are ready in 15 minutes and they're the perfect appetizer!

Ingredients

Hot Honey Prosciutto Pizza Bites

  • 4 slices bread of your choice quartered (the sturdier the bread the better - my favorite to use is Ezekiel bread)
  • 8 slices of prosciutto (about 4 oz)
  • 1 cup low-moisture mozzarella, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh arugula
  • freshly cracked black pepper

Hot Honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 small dried chili, cut in half (chile de árbol or bird's eye chili)
  • Optional for extra heat: 1-2 pinches of cayenne powder)
