Butter's BFF
Your favorite ingredient meets your new favorite piece of pottery. Pittsburgh-based artist Meghan Burke shaped and pinched this butter dish by hand, then fired it in a local wood kiln. (It’s a painstaking process where teams of people must stoke the flames continuously over several days—but the one-of-a-kind finish makes it all worth it.)
