Shopping is one of my greatest joys. Not just because I genuinely love discovering new brands and products, but because I love showing off my finds to anyone who will listen. So, is it any surprise that I’m a market editor? Nope—none whatsoever.
Possibly an even greater joy? Seeing what you, our community, shop for each month. This month, we saw two extremes—so many of you went into nesting mode with lots of furniture and decor from Wayfair, Castlery, and Interior Define, while others packed their bags with carry-on luggage from direct-to-consumer brands like Away and July.
Curious about what everyone bought? Ahead, the most popular buys from our community in July.

1. All the furniture and decor on Wayfair, Castlery, and Interior Define
We’re not surprised by the amount of furniture and decor our readers bought this month—the Fourth of July sales were some of the best we’ve seen. Jute poufs were a hit at Wayfair, as well as custom furniture at Interior Define and coastal-inspired pieces at Castlery. Best still, all three brands are still having sales through the end of the month.

2. Staub Cast Iron Cocotte with Glass Lid, 4QT, $400 $99
More than 1,000 folks grabbed this ever-versatile Dutch oven, perfect for roasts, casseroles, slow cooking, and more. The glass lid makes it easy to check on your dish without losing heat. And speaking of heat, the cast iron maintains even temps while the enamel finish is durable and beautiful, so you can take it from the oven or stovetop straight to the table.

3. Saatva Zenhaven Latex Mattress, $1,574+ $1,374+
The Saatva mattress that took my sleep from good to great was on sale this month, which many of you took advantage of. It’s definitely an investment, but one that’ll pay off the next morning when you wake up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

4. Five Two Silicone Oven Mitts & Pot Holders, $30–$40 $22.50–$30
Almost 800 readers were smart enough to grab a pair of silicone oven mitts and pot holders to avoid burning themselves while cooking up a feast on the grill, over the stove, and in the oven.

5. Contigo Cortland Chill 2.0 Water Bottle with AUTOSEAL Lid, $42.99 $39.44
The Contigo Cortland Chill 2.0 was the best affordable insulated water bottle out of the nine bottles we tested, and we saw our readers scoop it up during Prime Day when it was at its lowest-ever price. It was one of the largest bottles I tested and kept water ice-cold for hours, so if value is what you’re after, you’ll get it here.

6. KitchenAid Classic Mixing Bowls, Set of 3, $32.99 $23.36
These nesting KitchenAid mixing bowls were also among the most popular buys during Prime Day this year. If you didn’t snag a set then, you may want to grab one now—the classic Empire Red trio is at the same sale price as it was during the sale, and the Pistachio shade is even cheaper.

7. Five Two Everyday Soft Cotton Cloth Napkins, $30–$45
Almost 1,000 readers decided to swap single-use napkins for these endlessly reusable cloth versions—a smart and sustainable choice. The napkins come in sets so you can mix and match for the perfect tablescape.

8. Frigidaire EFIC189-Silver Compact Ice Maker, $129.77
One of the best ice makers I tested, this Frigidaire countertop machine is small-space friendly, powerful, and has a large window on the lid to let you see the ice being made—trust me, it’s satisfying to watch! It was a popular buy in June, but with the current heat wave around the country, no wonder so many more folks scored a machine of their own this month.

It looks like our community has been doing a lot of laundry stripping to get rid of all the stains that come with summer. The technique has been around for a while, but it went viral on TikTok last spring for its gross yet satisfying cleaning abilities. One of the major ingredients in laundry stripping is Arm & Hammer laundry detergent booster, which happens to be a versatile household cleaner, too.
