7 Recipes Our Moms Cooked for Us
In honor of Mother's Day, the Food52 team members are sharing some of their favorite recipes from their moms.

We asked the Food52 team, "Who has changed the way you cooked?" Not surprisingly, the majority of the answers were "My mom." At the Food52 office, moms are often a part of the food conversation, whether we're recounting our mom's infamous boiled brussels sprouts or baking a cake inspired by an editor's mom. Whether she cooked from scratch every night, considered boxed macaroni and cheese to be a well-rounded representation of the food pyramid, or was renowned for her tuna salad—and only her tuna salad—it's often our moms' recipes that we turn to for comfort and meal inspiration. In honor of Mother's Day, here are some of our favorite recipes from our own moms:
