Put a Filter on It: Orchards

It's no secret -- we love a good 'gram. Here, we'll be posting our favorite Instagrams from the food world, on a different theme each week. Today, we're making our way through the thicket.

We already wrote poetry about apples, gathered our favorite apple recipes, and discussed the best varieties for snacking and for baking. But enough with the words! We want visuals.

The trees are heavy with fruit (and not just apples -- pears, too), but your baskets are probably feather-light. Get yourself to a pick-your-own farm (or a farmers market) and start stocking up. Because more fruit equals more pie. It's a simple equation.
