There’s a Cashew Recall—Here’s What You Should Know

The recall is being issued by SunTree Snack Foods LLC based out of Phoenix, Arizona and affects brands such as Happy Belly, Prince & Spring, Harris Teeter, and HEB. It’s being put into effect after a customer warned the brand that a piece of glass contaminant was found in one of their purchased products. No injuries have been reported.
According to a press release issued by the company: “The recalled packages were distributed to retail stores in the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. SunTree Snack Foods is initiating the voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution to protect public health.” For more information on the specific products being recalled, check this chart.
Consumers who purchased items included in the recall are eligible for a full refund and are encouraged to return the items to wherever they were purchased, so head to the link above and see if you have any nuts in your pantry that were included in the recall.
