Grab your headphones—you’re going to want to hear this.

YouTuber Almazan Kitchen makes beautifully shot, intensely composed outdoor cooking videos. Most notably, the textured sounds of these enchanting masterpieces are giving me major ASMR tingles.

I'd call the aesthetic how-to-survive-in-the-wilderness-meets-seasoned-cinematographer-meets-I’ll-have-what-he’s-having. Think: steaks sizzling in cast iron over fiery embers as soft sun beams wade through a gentle canopy of rain-dewed leaves. Beyond the high-def shots of food, the juicy dripping burgers, and the nature panoramas, the sounds accompanying each of the videos really take the cake.

Here's what the producers of Almazan Kitchen have to say about cooking, according to their site:

We look for the food we have been eating as a species long enough so that it has formed us and our taste at the genetic level during the evolution. Therefore, we turn back to main ingredients that have been neglected, such as fire, different biosystems of microbial cultures, ancient techniques of food preparation, whereas the ritual, atmosphere and above all, passion, are necessary.

I’ve compiled some of my favorites here. They’re worth a watch, especially as we head into Memorial Day weekend and fire up our own grills. And again, don't forget your headphones:
