In my favorite movie of the past two years, Moana, coconuts are very important. The characters love coconuts so much that they sing an entire song about its various uses, and they use every last bit of the coconut—its fibers, flesh, and sweet milk. While I don’t expect any readers of this site to make nets out of a coconut’s rough outside, there’s a lesson here: coconuts are infinitely generous, and with some creativity, can fold themselves into a variety of (edible) uses.
With this line of thinking, I went ahead and compiled the best savory recipes from our site that involve coconut.
