The trope of the great American road trip shapes not only our most treasured books and our favorite movies, but the way we eat, too. We go out of our way to make authentic lobster rolls and Tex-Mex burritos in our own kitchens, and when that won't suffice, we plan entire vacations around Maine blueberries, South Carolina grits, and New Mexico chiles.

We wanted to see the local produce and the regional specialities you enjoyed this past week; one look at your chili dogs and crinkle fries already had us thinking about our next road trip.
