Love that rim
You’d be hard-pressed to find another pie dish like this one, and here’s why: After shaping and pinching it by hand, Pittsburgh-based artist Meghan Burke fired it in a local wood kiln. It’s a painstaking process that allows ash and flame to leave their unique marks on each piece. (Clearly, the results are well worth the effort.)
