You’re probably wondering how this vase got those subtle stripes, so we’ll tell you: Artist Elizabeth Benotti builds each one from porcelain clay in her studio in southern Maine, then dips it in colored clay before giving it a handpainted glaze. Pop a fresh sprig or two inside, and you’ve got a one-of-a-kind accent.
